A Fundraising dinner in Old Bar planned for this Saturday night has unfortunately had to be postponed. Old Bar Beach Sand Replenishment Group had arranged the gala event at the surf club to raise further funds in its quest for an offshore reef to protect the town's eroding coastline. However plans had to be changed this week, for a couple of reasons, at this stage, Elaine Pearce OBBSRG President hasn't set a new date for the event.

At the Taree-Old Bar Surf Club - Saturday August 27, 2011 - $100 per head with only 100 places available.This is a dinner well worth attending - 3 course meal - Auction of paintings by local
artists, stays at at local prestigious accommodation, outings at local dining venues, a local "Pirates".
League jersey signed by this year's "A' Grade" players and the most outstanding of all is the Guest
